Yesterday was the perfect winter beach day - luckily Alex and I are home again for the weekend and could fully enjoy it! We went for nice walk with my family, stopping to hang out with the dogs who are allowed to take advantage of the beach in the off-season :)
I'm taking a photography class at FIT, and our first assignment was a self portrait...without our "self" actually in it. We could use body parts or reflections, but no direct shots of our faces or profiles.
Enjoyed Cape Ann's quiet off-season with a chilly walk around Bearskin Neck in Rockport, Mass. The saltwater taffy shops and ice cream parlors were sadly closed - but the views luckily remain year-round...
Alex and I have escaped the city for a much-needed weekend at home. Seafood, fireplaces and long walks through quiet streets are just what the doctor ordered - pictures to come!
Braved this first (teeny-tiny) snowstorm to head down to the Farmer's Market for some hot apple cider and a glimpse at the sledding scene in Fort Greene Park.
