Frequently Asked Questions
Planning a trip involves a lot more than booking flights and choosing a hotel. I take the time to understand how you actually want to travel, then handle the research, logistics and details that turn those ideas into a thoughtfully designed itinerary.Through my relationships with trusted travel partners and suppliers, I may also have access to preferred rates, special offers, added amenities and other benefits that aren’t always available when booking on your own. Many trips also offer the flexibility to pay over time rather than paying the full cost upfront. Most importantly, you have a real person in your corner. From the initial planning process to navigating unexpected changes while you’re away, you have an additional layer of support from someone who knows you and your trip.
I specialize in creating completely customized trips designed around you. No two itineraries are the same, and you won’t receive a pre-made, one-size-fits-all package. We’ll start with what matters most to you: where you want to go, how you like to travel, your priorities, your budget and the experiences you’re most excited about. From there, I’ll design an itinerary specifically for you. Honeymoons, group travel, milestone trips and complex international itineraries are particular favorites of mine!

I’ll get to know your travel style, design your itinerary and remain your primary point of contact throughout the planning process.

Earlier is almost always better! The earlier we start the planning process, the less likely we are to run into availability issues later on. That said, every trip is different. If your departure date is approaching, you’re still welcome to reach out and we can go through available options together.
Absolutely. Budget is one of the parameters we’ll discuss at the beginning of the planning process, along with your priorities and travel style.Part of my job is helping you understand where your budget will have the biggest impact and where it makes sense to splurge or save. I’ll also be upfront if the experience you’re envisioning and the budget you’ve set aren’t realistically aligned.

Before departure, you’ll receive the information you need for your trip, including applicable in-destination and supplier support contacts.I also know your itinerary and the details of your trip, so if something unexpected happens, you have someone familiar with your plans who can help you navigate the situation and determine the best next steps.
Travel isn’t just what I plan. It’s what I love. I’m an enthusiastic traveler myself and have personally visited more than 90 countries across all seven continents. That firsthand experience plays a huge role in the way I approach planning for my clients.I consider myself a “been there” travel advisor. Whether I’m recommending a destination I’ve explored myself, sharing the little details you won’t always find in a guidebook and drawing on my own experiences to help you make the most of yours, I bring a personal perspective to the planning process. But no two travelers are alike. I take the time to understand what excites you, how you like to travel and what matters most to you, then create a completely customized experience around it. Every itinerary is thoughtfully designed from scratch, combining firsthand knowledge, careful planning and a genuine passion for seeing the world.Travel designed just for you.
